I was reading my chart today and noticed the notation "HROB." I just thought that was their special coding and didn't think anything of it initially.

Then when I'm rescheduling my appointment, I ask what their latest appointment time is, and the lady says 11:10 ... for the two days I asked. She's like, "Yeah, you're high risk." So I'm like, "I am?"

I called the nurse when I left because I needed to get to work, and the doctor called me back and left a message saying it wasn't anything to be concerned about, that my pregnancy was just not as straight forward as others'. WTF? LMAO. I figured it was because I was overweight, being treated for depression, or because I have PCOS ... any of them, all of them, or some combination thereof.

But, seriously doc? Y'can't be any more specific than "your pregnancy isn't as straightforward as others'"? Oh well. At least it's nothing to worry about at this time. *shakes head* Crazy medical professionals.
