Scott has been out of sorts all weekend--I wasn't sure if he was sick or not. He has a runny nose but no other symptoms. He's been clingy and fussy, but again, thought he might have a mild cold or something. His sleep was restless last night.
Well, today I was letting him "fall" backward in a game we play and noticed what I thought was something blue in his mouth. Well, I got a good look at his black/blue gums that are SO swollen--upper molars coming in. OUCH--it looks incredibly painful!!! Needless to say, tonight was a motrin night.
So what teeth are next--canines and then 2 year molars? When will he get a break (and us too) from all these teeth busting through. Poor guy!
Re: ouch--upper molars coming in
Scott's lower molars came in first (both at the same time) and I will say he is handling the upper two coming in better (so far!) than the bottom ones. It was VERY clear when the first ones came in that he was a teething mess. So hopefully Natalie's lower ones won't be as bad since she will have already experienced the uppers. Teething sucks!
I hear canines are terrible so I'm not looking forward to that. Boo! Our LOs need a break for a little bit!
Nate's molars came in pretty quickly, it seems. It was around a month for all 4 of them. He's had 1 canine for awhile and he's been working on the other 3 for a couple of weeks now. The 2nd bottom canine has broken through and his top 2 are close. The gums are SO swollen, so it can't be too much longer.
I got my mesh feeder out the other day and put some frozen smoothie fruit in it for Nate & he really enjoyed it. I might have to make that a nightly routine until these last 2 canines are in. I am really looking forward to a break from teething for awhile!
