2nd Trimester
Day 5 of head cold. Not feeling better. Help!
Ok so Im on day 5 of this head cold. Constant congestion, running nose and overall sluggish feeling. If I didnt feel so blah I would think I would be nearing the end but I really dont feel much better than I did 5 days ago. I have tried sinutab, Sudafed (the ok kind), Benadryl. What can I take to knock this out??

I had a head cold for almost a month around 12-16 weeks on top of horrible m/s. I absolutely felt horrible. My Dr said he couldn't really give me anything to take.
Are you nasal passages getting dried out? Mine did eventually and I got a horrible headache. There is some stuff called Ocean Nasal Spray you can use for it.
I've had bronchitis with a head cold since last Thursday. I'm on antibiotics since last Saturday and it's not helping. I take Dayquil and Nyquil liquid gell caps or Benadryl at night and it sort of helps. I didn't realize Sudafed was safe even though I admit to looking for some this morning out of desperation for some relief.
Call your doctor tomorrow.
I hate to say it but start doing saline nasal rinses. It will help dry things out and reduce the inflamation. It does provide relief.
They have a special bottle at the drug store. Read the directions carefully. If it doesn't come with a saline packet use warm water, a bit of salt and my accupuncturist says a tiny pinch of baking soda so the salt doesn't feel like it is burning.
