I'm back from vacation - did I miss a lot and a MIL story...

We just got back from driving 13 hours from SC. I am pooped. DD did pretty good. She took a 3 hour nap and slept all through Kentucky for us. Thank God we had teh DVD player, but I am totally Gabba'd, M&R'd out.

We get home and come to find out my MIL dropped our dog off at our house yesterday afternoon. My poor dog was inside with no water (we shut it off) and only 1 bowl of food for over 24 hours. This is the exact reason why I wanted a friggin house/dogsitter because I knew something like this would happen. DH was just too uncomfortable about it, so now he's uncomfortable cleaning the dog pi$$ in the basement.

    Why did you MIL drop him off yesterday? Did she know you were coming back today?  Poor puppy.

    We just made a long trip also; I was so, so thankful for that DVD player.

    I honestly think she was ready to be done of the dog. SHe has gum disease and her breath is like poop. She knew we would be home today
