Just a case of needing to choose your words a little more carefully.
Ya but I've been doing it a lot lately.
These things happen when you're experiencing a profound lack of sleep, stress and your sick to boot While I thought it was rude and a shortsighted way to put things I think you're one cool chic and I'm not holding it against you. Friends hold you accountable for stuff right, doesn't mean you're not still friends.
I don't think you did anything wrong....everyone is sensitive about something. Shoot - if I flamed every person who whined and complained and asked too many questions before their first trimester was even over, my blood pressure would be through the roof.
Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
I don't think you said anything wrong. Keeping up with BF should get a pat on the back its hard work and a huge commitment. You didn't say those who weaned were bad.
Posts are like email, a lot of misinterpretation when people can't hear your tone or see your face.
I'm sure most of the folks know that it was an error in wording/semantics, rather than a true "judgment" or put down. At least I hope they do. Everyone does that occasionally.

I don't think you did anything "wrong" but I also don't think that this post is the right way to go about it. I think an "I'm sorry for who I offended, it wasn't my intention...I just feel really proud for being able to stick with it" would have been a better tactic.

Kelly, I have put my foot in my mouth before and word for word written what you just did. Those offended don't respond with acceptance, nor do they forgive, they continue to feel the way they did before I wrote the apoligy and so I no longer feel the need to say "sorry I put my foot in my mouth", because what is the use in saying sorry if no one accepts it?
