DS has double ear infections again =0(

Ugh. When will all this stop. I just hope that he doesn't have a reaction to this antibiotic, and I hope we don't get yeast again from it. =0(

What did I miss?

    Oh no poor guy!   Are you giving him probiotics to prevent yeast?  Hope the antibiotics kick in so he starts feeling better soon!

    I'm looking into that. I have some acidophilus from when I had thrush, but I'm not sure how much to give. I should've asked the NP I saw today, but being sick too I was in a fog and in a rush.

    Have you ever tried Garlic Oil for ear infections?  It works great!

    I use two different kinds - depending on what I have in the house.  Odorless Garlic Capsules that I poke a hole in and squeeze just a few drops in each ear.

    Sometimes I use Ear Drops from the co-op or our chiropractor.  They have garlic and a few other things to help.

    Chiropractic care can help with ear infections and the body processing antibiotics.  My one friend had a son that was on the verge of getting tubes because of contact ear infections.  He was treated a couple of times and the need for tubes went away, along with his ear infections.

    Chiros are very gentle with little babies.  The don't need much pressure to adjust.  My husband is a D.C. and adjusted our baby when he was first born.  He also sees lots of babies...also a lot for gastric reflux.

    I normally do 1-2 capsules into applesauce every day.  I just open up the capsules and pour them right in and mix it.
