Telling parents today!

DH and I have been debating back and forth, but after our strong u/s yesterday (two hearts just pounding away at 175 and 180 bpm), we have decided to tell our parents today. We're a little nervous...last week the doctor told us that once we had a strong heartbeat, we could start telling. The surprising thing is having *two* strong heartbeats!

We were going to wait another month to make sure both are sticky but have decided we want their support sooner vs. later. Twins is a big thing to wrap our heads around!

We initially had a big, elaborate plan to tell our parents. Now we're just going to call them together! I don't know why I'm so nervous...maybe because saying it out loud will suddenly make it very, very real!

    That is so exciting... I'm sure they will be beyond thrilled!  I'm amazed you were able to wait this long.  We've already told our parents!

    Oh congrats to you both! We're telling our parents tonight too and we're so excited. I was finally able to convince them to pick us up from the airport and surprise them =). Congrats on the Twinkies! (I'm a twin and love to hear about others!)
