  I figure, if your job is to be on the phone, you should be polite.  I am on the phone 65% of my day and even on the days when I'm a wreck missing DS, not having slept, have more work than I can handle, I'm STILL POLITE!  Plus, I hate getting people I can't understand.

  Folks...LOL!  Can tell you're from the south!

  I often wonder why it's so hard to be nice.  Some people are just miserable and it's too bad they have to live that way.  It's so much easier to go through life when you're happy and make an effort to just be nice.

  LOL! I am always polite on the phone, in fact my DH says I change the way I talk and use my "nice" voice.

  People like that suck. I have found that being overly nice to them seems to piss them off more. I love it. LOL

  I had someone call and confirm employment of an employee. She got nasty and I wasn't in a good mood SO I hung up on her.
  I had already verified the employment she got nasty after.

  I get those calls too, the people are ALWAYS rude to me.
