a friend brought over a big bag full of potatos and onions. They are real small so I cant make twice baked,or baked potatos with them. Ive made garlic mashed twice..and recipe ideas? Id love to do something in the crock pot
Put a beef (or pork) roast in the crock pot and cut up potatoes & onions - throw them in there too. Cover roast with s&p - if it's a pork roast cover with citrus seasoning and lemon & lime juices. If it's a beef roast cover with 1 can of beef broth and a packet of onion soup mix.
Cook on low for 8 hours. Yum! Oh and I usually add carrots too.
all of the above are suggestions i would make too... I also LOVE potatos and onions fried up with italian sausage. you can put it on rolls or eat as is. a little olive oil, S&P and garlic YUM! I bet you could make this some how in the crock pot.
Re: potaotos and onions
Not a crockpot recipe, but I was drooling over this earlier today:

Versatile recipe - you can do a lot of different things with them, add bellpeppers/cheese, even meat.
Another good potato recipe of hers: https://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2008/06/crash-hot-potatoes/
