Baby gate for doorway?

So my cat urinated on the nursery rug recently.  I nearly killed him, but chalk it up to baby stress.  So we have proceeded to rip out the rug and now just have hardwood floors in there.

I need a baby gate that can stretch across the doorway of the room so that it'll keep the cat out.

Any recommendations?

Started a ton of supplements in May 2012 and hoping for a miracle! SURPRISE BFP!! (October 2012)

    Won't your cat just jump over the baby gate?  Mine won't, but I've had cats in the past who would.

    I heard of a person installing a fancy screen door (like you have on your outside doors) on the nursery door because their cats jumped over the baby gate. I thought it was really, really weird, but if you have a cat who jumps, it might be an option.

    I have a friend who has a daughter who has achondroplasia (sp?) and was born at 27 weeks they didn't want the cats to go in the nursery, so they did just this!

    We have baby gates in various places, and the cats go over them all the time.  If you really need to keep the cat out, either keep the door shut or install a screen.
