AFI was 11 today...how close to not normal is that?

OB said it was fine, and I believe her. How low does it need to get before its no longer fine? 2 weeks ago I think it was 21, that seems like quite a jump to me.

    I'm sorry, are you talking about amniotic fluid? If so, anything between 10-24 is considered normal. My doc said they don't intervene until the fluid drops to 7-8 and stays there consistently. If it gets too low, they can always do an amnio infusion to replace your lost fluids. HTH!

    I think it's more like 4-20. Mine was consistently 17 then dropped to 10 and is now back up to 17. I would't worry it's all on how the baby is postitioned if they can get good images. It also fluctuates based on how far along you are.
