Cigars anyone?

Has anyone already or plan to buy those silly "It's a ____" cigars? DH said he wants to since we don't know what the baby is. He's not a smoker mind you, so I'm kinda hoping he just forgets about it...but just in case I'd rather be prepared and know a good place!

    my mom bought its a boy bubble gum cigars and gave me the big box at my shower i have no idea what im going to do with them though.

    I think we are going to pass on the cigars and we are just going to stick to the birth announcements with the picture.

    We are definitely doing birth announcements w/ a pic, but DH really wants something to hand out and act macho about when people come over! LOL!

    We found the "It's a Girl" bubble gum cigars at the hospital gift shop so I bought some for DH to hand out at the hospital to family (none of them smoke.)

    I went to a local cigar shop to get the "It's a Girl" real cigars for DH to take with him on his first day back to work.  The shop didn't keep them in stock, but they could order them and have them in within a few days.  There are some shops online where you can order them, but your local tobacco/cigar shop is probably a much better bet.  If you don't have a tobacco shop in your area, check with one of the bigger liquor stores.  Our local shop is actually a liquor store that has a cigar shop inside it.

    My husband wanted cigars so I went and bought the ones I know all the guys smoke on special occassions and then made lables that said "It's a Boy!"  I only bought for our really close family and friends. If I was going to pay the money I wanted to get the ones the guys would actually use.  I also made little bags filled with brown and blue M&Ms with our LO name and ribbons to hand out to everyone else who comes to visit.

    BIL bought DH a box of "It's a Boy" cigars at a local cigar bar.  He's really excited about taking them to work and handing them out.  I figure that's totally his realm...I'm excited about newborn pictures and birth announcements.
