I take an afternoon on the couch watching awesome old movies like The Goonies or The Princess Bride. It lets me feel totally self-indulgent without costing a penny.
i organize or clean something, usually my condo. for some reason if i clean, organize, get rid of things for Good will, etc. i feel cleansed and refreshed.
sometimes i make a list of goals too and that helps. even just short term things.
I usually go for a walk or go window shopping (no need to buy anything, just try stuff on). Something that gets me out of the house doing something else. I find when I'm in a funk I need a total change of scenery.
I listen to upbeat music--the cheesier the better. I will force myself to do yoga. For some reason that Meryl Streep musical, Mamma Mia, always makes me smile.
If those fail, I hole up someplace with a good book and dive into a bag of chips and avoid the world for a few hours.
Going to volunteer at the Humane Society always makes me feel good about myself and accomplished. I go 4-5 days a week in the summer for an hour and 40 minutes each day. I clean the kitty cages, make sure they have food and water, and then cuddle them.
Take a nap or exercise. (Mostly exercise... get those endorphins up.) I know that is on both ends of the spectrum but they both seem to help me when I'm in a funk.

I do something fun with DH. Like sit around and talk about when we first met. Last night we spoke for hours about what it was like to first be naked around each other, it was fun! Sometimes we look at old photos or whatever. You can pick a favorite wedding pic and have it enlarged. Or bake something with lots of chocolate in it!
