How far along were/will you be for your "big" U/S?

Just wondering how far along everyone was/will be for your "big" U/S? I had a Dr. appt yesterday and they scheduled mine for 8/27 which will put me at 21w3d. I know usually it's between 18 and 22 weeks, but I see a lot of women talking about getting it between 18 and 20 weeks. I asked my Dr. about it and he said that is was pretty standard for them to wait a little longer.

DH and I are so excited for this LO as this is our first. We were ttc for 18 months before I got pg and have been anxious to find out whether we're having a boy or girl, but it just seems so far away.

Mine is 8-19 I will be 21 weeks.

EDIT: I had my u/s with DS at 21 weeks as well.

THankfully they could get me in at 20 weeks, I really did not want to go in before that. The longer you wait the better you will be able to tell the sex!

I went in at 19wks but the baby was still a little too small to see everything, I went back at 22wks and got all the measurements...my doc said she usually waits till 22wks to do the big u/s

23 weeks, I go to the dr tomorrow and I am hoping to talk him into letting me at least go at 22. When I made my last appt I asked why I could do it at this next appt and he said they like doing them later and gave me the whole this is to check to make sure the baby is healthy not for you to find out the sex. I know he is right but I still want to know what we are having!

It stinks waiting. I've been so excited to found out, but especially because the closer I get to finding out the more my ILs (MIL particularly, but that's another story) tell me they already know what I'm having. It is irritating and frustrating when I don't even know.

My OB absolutely will NOT see you for your big u/s until your are 20 weeks. So Mine is scheduled for 20 weeks 3 days.

20wks 4d, and the ultrasound place recommended waiting until after 20 weeks for the most accurate measurements.

I thought I was 17 weeks 6 days, but they moved my EDD up a week, so I guess I was 18 weeks 6 days. My doctor had me do it at 21 weeks with my previous pregnancies, so I was surprised she had me do it earlier this time. Usually it's standard with my doctor to wait. I'm just not sure why she didn't this time.
