Should I just go home? Maternity pant vent...

My maternity pants are killing me -- they are the low waist style and now that my belly is getting larger the elastic band keeps rolling down and it is so uncomfortable.  I'm trying to suck it up, but I kind of want to ask my boss if I can leave and work from home for the rest of the day. 

Otherwise, does anyone know of a clothing store in the financial district of NYC that sells maternity clothes?  I would buy a new pair if there is a place nearby that sells them. 

Thanks for letting me vent.

    just say your not feeling well and go home.  having your pants dig into you is soo uncomfortable anyway and could make you not feel well anyway...lol.

    I left work 2 weeks ago for the same thing.  Jeans are not comfortable anymore.  So I just took my laptop home and finished work from the couch.

    I had this exact problem today.  I went home at lunch and changed.  I realize you probably can't do the same thing, but maybe you can leave early and work from home as pp suggested.

    I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has contemplated this...  I think I may just tell the boss I'm not feeling well.  Who wouldn't believe a pregnant lady?

    Do it :D You aren't going to get anything done being uncomfortable anyway! Hope you get relief soon.

    I had the same issue a month or so ago. Motherhood maternity has those secret fit pants which has been a life saver. They are so much more comfortable.

    Thanks for the tip.  These pants should have a warning label on them -- i.e. great in early pregnancy but will strangle you when your belly gets too big.
