So our plane ride was a success!

She didn't cry, she fussed some, but we read books, looked out the window, ate snacks, and harrassed the people behind us with a neverending game of peek a boo. Thank goodness the people behind us were grandparents and used to it.

I packed WAY too much. OMG with the carseat, the crib, and her suitcase of clothes, toys, books, and blankets...next time I definitely need to tone the packing down. LOL. DH was NOT happy about having to lug all our stuff across the airport.

I kept her in a sling while we were in the airport which was okay but she is squirmy and wants to walk so at times I had her on the leash...which resulted in many stares from some people. LOL.

Oh and don't forget which floor you parked on at the airport. Hunting your car down after a long flight with a fussy toddler is NOT fun.

I'm so glad that it went well!

And the leash haters can suck it. Unless you tied her to a bench or something while you and DH hung out at the bar.

LOL Jess!

I sooooo see us getting a leash in the near future. All she wants to do is walk and she is insane so its not a good situation.

Glad it went well! I think kids like the white noise of planes so that helps.

Yeah we were in the bathroom and I had just finished changing her and had to put her down in order to pack up the diaper supplies and she took off! The leash was like a bungee cord and she kinda snapped right back to me. She almost fell so I had to hold the leash up in order to keep her from hitting her head. It made me laugh but the onlookers were NOT pleased. LOL.

This is why I scheduled our flight at 6 in the morning. LOL. She would have been a hellion had it been later.
