Eating less at 5 months

Is it normal for a 5 month to eat less than usual. My DS usually eats 6 oz three to four times a day and 2 8oz bottles, one right before bed and one when he wakes up. Before yesterday, he would down every single bottle and also two jars of baby food. For the last two days, he only has finished one or two bottles, leaving anywhere from an ounce to sometimes three ounces after every feeding. He still eats the baby food with no problem. I am just concerned that he isn't eating as much.

I know babies eat only when they are hungry, so I am going to assume that he is just going through something where he just isn't as hungry. I didn't know if anyone else has expereinced this as well.

    Maybe his stomach is upset. DS did this last Friday to Saturday adn then Saturday night he had a big poop! After that he kept drinkin' like before.

    I read on kellymom.com that when babies are focused on learning a new skill, they sometimes eat less.  DS has been busy with rolling lately, and I've noticed him eating less at some feedings.
