Umbilical hernias can be reduced, meaning you can push it in through the abdominal hole. DD's would stay shriveled up until she pushed or something and then it would pop back out. I don't think belly buttons can do that.
IUI # 1 on 1/19, Beta 2/1 = BFN, Hysteroscopy on 2/15= 5 polyps removed, and cervix cleared, IUI #2 on 4/15 = BFP, Beta#1 on 4/30 @ 15 dpiui= 279, Beta #2 on 5/9 @24dpiui = 10,154, U/S on 8/5 = TWO GIRLS! Born 10/16 at 28 weeks.

Ditto. DS had one for a while and they aren't much of a big deal, just make sure it doesn't suddenly grow in size or change to a red/purple color which can be a sign of blood acumulating in it.
And I want to add that DS now has an innie. My mom was horified by the UH and worried he would have an outie, for some reason the idea of an outie really bothered her.
