me and my husband are having a diffucult time deciding on a girls name. We want something older but not to funky! Our 2 year old is Gwendolyn Annette so we like that older vibe. any suggestions?? also I like the name harper or evan for a boy what do you all think???
Thanks!!!
Re: any suggestions for girls names
I like the name Hazel for a girl, but my husband said no : ( I think it has an older vibe.
As for Harper, I prefer it for a girl. I do like Evan though.
IMHO Harper is a girls name. I honestly can't see it as a boys name.
Girls name suggestions:
Sophia
Fawn
Kathleen
Emma
Faye
Iris
Rose
Alma
Harper and Evan are both very cute boys names. If it's a boy you could name him Evan Harper
I LOVE the name Natalie and I'm pretty sure that we would be naming the baby this except for the fact that it's a boy.. Some other names we thought of that you may like were Lily and Olivia.
Now can you find some boy names for me that DH likes???
paul
joshua
garison
emanual (then call him manny)
gavin
good luck i feel likes it harder to find a boys name then a girls!!!
I think this site is really fun:

They have a lot of baby name lists if you browse by category.
Some old-fashioned girls names they suggest include:
Adeline, Beatrice, Celia, Clementine, Emmeline, Genevieve, May, Violet...
Gabriella/Gabrielle
Abigail
Elizabeth
Julia
Luanna Was my grandmother's name. My sister is planning on using it as a name for one of her kids in the future. It has an older feel.
Patricia is another one that might work.
