Help/Ideas for Hiding Hardware

Hi Ladies - Hoping you can help. After much back and forth and a little conflict with the mother, we have chosen a bursery set. We ordered the Graco Shannon Crib with 3 other coordinating pieces. I love the crib, but hate how prominent the hardware seems to show. Anyone have any ideas about how to resolve this problem??? Hardware caps, paint???

TIA

Re: Help/Ideas for Hiding Hardware

  • I would think that it's nothing a little bit of paint couldn't cure! Cute crib!

  • Go to a hardware store and buy some wooden screw hole covers. you will need to paint them, but they will look great--they will make your crib look like it costs hundreds more than you paid for it. A friend who works at a high end baby store in my area told me that this is what they do when they do custom painted cribs.
  • wooden screw hole covers could be a choking hazard....I would just paint them.
