I just wanted to introduce myself over here. . .
Last year I was pregnant with twins and developed HELLP Syndrome at 19w2d; I had to deliver 2 days later. When I was hospitalized they discovered a whole host of clotting disorders (in sig) - interestingly, most of them disappear when I'm not pregnant, but whatever ![]()
After that I continued to lurk around the nest/ bump (I had been a member of SAIF), and was thrilled when I saw that they made this board - since I knew that, if I ever were pregnant again, I'd definitely be high risk.
Well, here I am again, in the *very* early stages of pregnancy. I probably would have held off introducing myself except I started Lovenox last night, and *holy crap* I hate that stuff! It was indeed just as bad as I remembered from last time
Anyway, I knew there'd be people here that could relate.
I'm looking forward to "meeting" you all
Re: Hey girls. . . a bit about me
I just wanted to say welcome and congratulations on your pregnancy
I am so sorry for your loss of your precious twins. There are lots of great women on this board (unfortunately) and hopefully they can help out more with your specific conditions.
I will be saying a prayer for this little baby you are carrying!

Welcome!
I am very sorry to hear about your previous experience. But i hope this one is a million times better and you get your precious LO.
As you see, we have a lot of lovenox ladies here. You seem to have a whole slew of thrombophilias. More than I have ever seen, actually. I wish you the best of luck. Are you taking extra folic acid for your MTHFR or are you just on the lovenox? I always say MTHFR as a curseword in my head, but that is me. It really is a mofo though, especially with everything else you have.
Anyway, fire away your questions, lament on your bad days. Console with us, and cheer on our successes. It is a good group here.
I am so sorry for the loss of your twins...I had been following your blog (I also had HELLP). Congratulations! I think you are incredibly brave. Good luck to you! (I am a floater from the Preemie board, but frequent this board and lurk, bc I will be high-risk next time)
