Moving to Charlotte!

Hi my name is Nicole. Our family is moving to Charlotte Aug 1st. We are originally from Pittsburgh, PA. We are leaving everything we know here and starting a new adventure in Charlotte!!

I would love some advise on doctors, dentists, pediatricians, activites, and anything else you think would be helpful to get us adjusted to a new place!

    I like arboretum obstetrics (more than just babies) are the doctors are so personable and professional also arboretum pediatrics. Haven't found a really good dentist yet been here for years and still trying different ones

    I use Providence Womens Care as my OB/GYN and love them -- have referred a few friends to them who love them as well.  Alex goes to Ballentyne Peds and most everyone we know IRL uses them as well. 

    Where in CLT are you moving because you might want to get some more location specific drs because it can be a bear getting around town to appts on time if they are on the other side of town.

    Also for someone new moving to the area I would suggest getting on CharlotteMommies.com -- they are always having area gtg's and playgroups, and events so it could get you involved really quickly.

    Welcome! We are going to use Dilworth Pediatrics and I go to Mid-town OBGYN.  Both are affiliated with Presbyterian Hospital.

    I agree I would look in the area you are moving too, Charlotte is pretty spread out.
