How do you tell if DC wearing CD has pooped?

This may sound like a stupid question, but I recently switched to CDs and when DS was in sposies I always new when he pooped either by the smell or cupping my hand over his botton (I could feel it) but  with the CDs they hide the smell so well and are too bulky to "feel" the poop.  So how do I know that he has pooped wthout derobing him to "peek" inside his diaper?

    If I can't smell it, I peek - either in the back or through a leg hole.

    lol, I can still smell it just not as bad.  and I hear DD poop.

    I can usually tell when DD is pooping by the faces she makes (she looks like she's thinking about something very serious).  I'll give her a few minutes and then take a peek to see if my suspicions are correct.

    Of course, if I miss any of that I'm lucky in that DD will not tolerate a dirty diaper at all.  She will put out all the stops w/ her fussing to get me to change that diaper.

    DD is not very lady like- you can hear her pooping for miles. She also starts fussing if she is dirty, so if I happen to not hear it, that is a good indicator.

    Ugh, I wish I had the problem of not knowing when DS has pooped.  Because of the formula he is on (Neocate) his poops are sooooo stinky!  He stinks up the entire room!  There is no question for me when he has pooped and needs to be changed.

    I can still smell it but if I'm not sure I peek in the back of his diaper to double check.

    DD goes "shew!" whenever she poops.  Before she started doing that I'd have to peek.

    If I don't hear it (still runny BF poop with lots of noise) then I'll check the leg hole on both sides. If one looks clear, I still check the other side to make sure.
