  I've wondered the same thing.  I've heard no more than once per day, but that was just somebody's post.  I've never asked my OB.  I'm curious to see responses.

  Totally safe (according to my OB) but don't freak out if you can't find the hb - my OB was unable to this morning and we had to get another u/s but everything was totally fine!

  Yeah, I picke dup my baby's heartbeat on my doppler 3 and 4 days ago, but for whatever reason, I haven't been able to pick it up yesterday or today (although I had an ultrasound today, so I know everything's fine, and heard the HB through the US)

  I read somewhere that no one really knows the upper limit or if it can affect baby negatively if done frequently. So I would say use it within moderation like once a day.

  I've also heard to not use it for very long, find the HB and stop.  Don't sit there and listen for a while.  I thought I saw that it can build up heat or something if it's used like that

  For some reason, this computer SUCKS here at work, and this posted again. Sorry!

  Married my BEST FRIEND on December 1, 2007. Started TTC in March 2008. Found out we were expecting our first child in October 2008 - but had a m/c in December 2008 - resulting in a d&e. Met with a RE in May 2009 and set a plan - but conceived unexpectedly on our own! Our precious little Sophia was born on February 9, 2010!
