How did you get your DC to hold a cup without it spilling everywhere? DS will probably drink from a cup and doesn't really know how to use a sippy (though we have tried it many times). He seems to love a cup though! My worry is that once he officially transition to only a cup, he will spill everything. Any thoughts or tips on how to only give a cup?
Re: s/o - Moms with older babies/toddlers using a cup, not a sippy?
we started with a straw cup (heb brand) and we tried open cups b/c he wanted to drink like us.
I highly rec the Ikea plstic rainbow cups. 2 bucks for 6. they are the perfect size.
We started only giving him about 1/4 of an inche of water and yes it is a wet process, but hey it's only water. he's up to almost half a cup full now, but you have to help him put it down.
He always looks so happy when he drinks from it. We've also moved up to giving him milk in the cup too.
Little Dude tried to do this so we took the real cups out and he has other stuff he tries to drink from but it's not the same shape as a cup so he usually doesn't get any in him
