For those of you that get sore boobs

I never get sore boobs. I do get sore nipples around O, but never sore boobs.

For those of you that get it (pre-AF, around O, etc.), can you describe the pain? Is it like an all-over feeling, or is it concentrated in one particular area? Do you have to press down on it to feel it, or do you feel it even when you aren't moving around?

I got sore nips around O time, then on my BFP cycle they never went away. The soreness spread to the outsides of my boobs. They were always uncomfortable if I was moving, but I felt it much more if I pressed down.

For me, I get it around O until AF, it's tender. That's the best way I can explain it. Definitely more in the nipple area but the whole boob too. I sometimes get tingling feelings or shooting pains. This last cycle they felt more heavy. Hurt when I touch them, tender (for lack of a better word) when I don't. When I'm perfectly still they don't hurt really but the second I move and they rub against my bra I feel it. It's not super painful, but it's there.

I get sore boobs before AF. I may or may not get sore nips. It's an all over feeling for me, and VERY sore like on the sidea near the armpit.

I never really had sore boobs, but they were just a tad tender all over late in the 1st trimester. The only thing I can think of when you say sore boobs is how painful it was to stop BF....I want to cry thinking about it.

I don't want people to think I'm fishing, but yeah, a little. I accidentally bumped the outside of my left boob with my arm, and it felt a little sore. I know you can get new AF symptoms at any time, though. I've had lots of "I've never had this symptom before" moments in the 2ww, only to have AF show. So I know it could definitely be AF on the way.

Again, not fishing. Just trying to get an idea of what sore boobs feel like.

Mine are usually very tender. Sometimes so tender it hurts to just brush them against something. It's usually the whole thing and not in a particular area. Sometimes a light touch and sometimes I don't even have to touch them. I usually get it 2DPO that's pretty much how I know I actually O'd. HTH's.

I get sore boobs after O for about 3 days.. It feels like I slept on them all night, it's just an all around achiness. It feels like my bra is too tight and that my boobs weigh 1000 lbs. It hurts when I try to excercise but other than that it's just a mild discomfort, but I can feel it the whole time.

I get sore boobs from 8 dpo to AF. It usually hurts all over the boob but especially on the sides closer to the armpits. They usually feel heavy when I move around, but when I press on them they hurt. They stop hurting a day before I get AF and that's how I know that I'm not pregnant without even testing.

Is this your first time you get sore boobs?

For me I'm all of the above. I don't get sore nips really...but everything else and it varies cycle to cycle. I can always tell something's different the day I O, but they aren't always super sore. Sometimes its touching them that hurts, sometimes its taking my bra off or just lil' shooting pains. Sometimes it's just on the sides and near armpits (that was only one cycle though).

That's where it is for me, I think. I brushed my arm against the side of my boob, and felt the soreness. I've never had sore boobs before, so this is new to me.

Thanks! I don't really have any other phantom symptoms though. I'll take the sore boobs as a new pre-AF symptom.

My boobs are sore before O, during, and after! They just feel heavy and are BIG! Like almost a size bigger! No soreness around the nipples. I dont have to touch them, they throb on their own!

Never got sore boobs EXCEPT my BFP cycle. My boobs KILLED. They felt heavy, full, and all over achy - like I didn't ever want to put my arms down because they hurt so bad to the touch.

Pre AF they would get sore in the cleavage area for some reason. Post bfp they are just sore and swollen everywhere.

They feel big & heavy. If I even brush the side of my boob I want to cry, if they move to much they hurt... I guess kind of like a muscle pain... I'm trying to find the best way to discribe it...

First - can we say temp spike! Looking good.

Second, Mine is usually in my left boob and its the outside part near my armpit and a little to the bottom. I really notice when I bounce up or down the stairs. It almost feels like a bad bruise that you push on. I don't know how to describe it exactly, but they get a little full, sometimes hot, and just sore. The pain is very random for me and I never picked up on it until the last few months.

I would sometimes get sore boobs pre-AF. It was a general all-over soreness and fullness - they felt heavy and they hurt like hell when I walked, pressed on them, took my bra off, put my bra on, slept, etc. It was pretty much constant discomfort. When I got pregnant, this was the first symptom I had, although I thought it was just PMS at the time - I first noticed it about a week before AF was supposed to show. Then they stayed sore for weeks... and weeks... and weeks. The soreness finally went away around 7 or 8 weeks. Now I just get sore nips from time to time.

Mine get swollen all over and noticeable larger, sore to the touch, and often sore when I move around (like moving against my shirt) before AF. They don't throb or anything like that.

when I had my CP, my whole boobs were starting to ache and feel tender when squeezed, poked, or removed from my bra.

I am a DDD - so I'm not sure if the size of the breast makes a difference here.

I'm a B so I'd say size doesn't matter. However mine hurt a day before O too. Except this time, they didn't hurt at all.

It usually over all for me ....im pretty big (D cup) so when they hurt they get heavy Ugh! I usually just wear a sports bra around the house when this happens. The extra support seems to help.

Yeah, it's not unusual for me to get temp spikes around this time, so I'm not reading too much into it. I'll take this new boob soreness thing as a new AF symptom and leave it at that. Smile

Mine were sore on the sides, so that if I brushed them or something with my arms or putting on my bra, it would feel like brushing a bruise.

I don't get them consistently, but when I do it is generally the entire boob that aches, and the nipple/areola area is especially sensative.

Occasionally I get a weird thing where my nipples shrivel right up (like reacting to cold) and hurt like the dickens for a little while, then go back to normal. I don't associate this with anything, but it is odd, and since we're talking about sore boobs I thought I'd share. Wink

***eta: Your chart looks great! And like it wants to be triphasic. ::fingers crossed::

I don't get sore boobs every cycle, but when I do it is from O until just before AF. It is mostly in my nipples and I can feel it the most when I am putting on or taking off my bra. Once my bra is off after being on all day just my tshirt against my nipples hurts.
