My first "should I call the doctor" issue

DD has had mushy bm's for 3 days now...and quite often.  She has no other symptoms of an illness at all.  No fever, she's eating fine, playing fine, etc. I have NO idea what this is coming from.  How long before you call the doctor for something like that?  Frankly it's getting annoying.  I can't leave the house at night because she has to go to the bathroom all the time!

  • I wouldn't call unless she is is in pain or has other symptoms. Can you have her eat some constipating foods?

  • Put her on the brat diet. Is it hot where you live, has she been playing outside a lot. Maybe the heat and AC combo. Drinking a lot, or eating lots of fruit and juice. Maybe it is just a little bug. See if the Bananas Rice Apllesauce nd toast help.

  • It's probably a virus that the dr. can't do anything about but ... I would call anyway, tell them her symptoms and ask at what point you should be concerned.  After 7 days of loose bm's, etc.  But really your gut will tell you when to be concerned, right now I would just be precautionary.
