I'm farting like a mofo. Seriously. Have been for the past couple of days and it's gotten worse today. I have no idea why - I haven't eaten anything unusual, and I'm honestly not normally very gassy. But I am ripping one off like every 5 minutes (that's what it feels like, anyway). So far, I've been blaming it on the cat. ![]()
All of that said, I have a pretty sensitive system, and even if I can't remember eating anything odd, it's probably still caused by food somehow. *sigh*
Re: 7 dpo...the phantom symptoms begin
Haha. That's awesome. My DH is very good about not farting in front of me at all. I am the same with him. I never even had to ask him not to. So I was so surprised when he was with a group of guy friends and not only joking about it, but joining in on farting on each other. I just laughed out loud at my own sentence. I promise that my DH is not as dumb as that makes him sound... but he is a guy. Were you gassy with your last pregnancy?
LOL my husband farted on our first date. And hasn't stopped since.
Yeah I was gassy the first time around, although it was burping all the time then. What symptoms did you have (if you don't mind me asking!)?
My earliest and most noticable symptom was sore boobies. We just finished up our first cycle TTCAL and I totally convinced myself that any time my chest had any normal sensation it was a pregnancy symptom. And then when I started spotting I tried to convince myself that it was implantation bleeding again. Just super duper late this time. But alas, what followed cannot be mistaken. It was AF.
I was never gassy or nauseous or constipated. Just sore boobies and exhausted. How about you? What symptoms did you have?
Initially, the burping, then fatigue. I also had some cramps and round ligament pains, and after the first week or two, food aversions (I couldn't eat tomatoes or lettuce to save my life).
I never really had sore boobies - my nipples were sensitive, but my actually booby part wasn't sore. I was also never constipated - I'm wondering how common that actually is, because I've polled some of my IRL friends and only one or two of them ever had constipation problems in early pregnancy. Go figure!
Haha, that's pretty funny! Hoping that it's a good sign for you!!!
I was the same way when I was pregnant. The thought of eating salads made me gag and I normally like them. I couldn't even put lettuce on my sandwiches.
