Parenting after a Loss

Hi and long overdue update.

Hey everyone!

So I know I haven't posted much since Chase was born back in February but my family and I have just been SOOOO busy! I try to look on the boards for a few minutes a day to see what is going on and all of the beautiful babies!

Well, since Chase came we have moved, got a new dog, travelled twice, I went back to work full time, and we are currently decorating our new home, which is a job in itself.

The great news is that Chase is doing great! No real big issues....he is a big baby though Smile his 4 month stats were 28 inches and 18.5 pounds. Our only real issue us that I had to stop breastfeeding at 4 months because no more wanted to come out and with having such a big boy, lots of milk is key! I guess it runs in my family though because my mom told me the furthest she got was 3 months.

I hope everyone is well and I love all of the pics of your DCs. I know we all feel so blessed to have them in our lives. Also a big congrats to all of the new BFPs even the crazy people who got knocked up within a few months of giving birth, Stick out tongue

I promise to post more often!

  • hmmmm....Angel I think your name sounds a little familiar.

I was on the PL board starting back in Oct of 2007, around the same time as MayBride.

In a nut shell, blighted ovum discovered in Oct, got pg again in Dec. That pg ended in a missed m/c in Jan. NEEDED a TTC break and all things baby.

DH and I took a vacation to Greece in May and got a sticky baby who was born on Valentine's day Smile

I posted a bunch on SAL but not as much as some ladies.

  • Hello! Glad all is well.
