I thought it was later, but I feel like I'm in full swing nesting mode! We had such a busy weekend finalizing the major items on the registry, purchasing a nursery chair, picking up a crib from my BIL, and then yesterday I thought "I can take it easy and rest today" - Usually Sundays are spent doing laundry and catching up on whatever is on the DVR. Nope! I went non-stop until 11pm last night purging things from the closets, filing paperwork, going through old magazines, cleaning, etc. I ended up with 8 huge bags/boxes of things to donate! And now I sit at work and wish I was at home so I could continue operation "get the house ready for baby"!
My productivity scares me a little bit - but it feels great!
Re: When does "nesting" start?
I have had maybe 4 bouts of nesting. All started at about 35 weeks.
One was for the babys laundry, next I cleaned out the Freezer. And now I am doing more laundry like a mad woman bc I dont want to run out of sheets and towels.
I'm in laundry mode, too. Right now I'm washing the baby clothes my SIL gave us, the receiving blankets and burpies and all the crib sheets?even though he'll be in the bassinet at first.
And I'm FINALLY packing my hospital bag. Not that it's ready... but I'm getting there.
