this one is for the guys...some of my DW pet peeves
she doesn't do jack around the house because she's "too busy with the kids"
she expects me to be a mind reader instead of telling me openly what she wants

I don't think we have any guys on here regularly to join in your pet peeve "for the guys".
And if you are biotching about your SAHM not doing enough housework because of the kids, you came to the wrong place. This board is filled with Moms who wish they could get more done, and are too busy to do it, and have DH's who complain yet don't help. So good luck with that!

Wrong place. Most men can not handle what women do on a regular basis until they are forced to try. Be grateful for all that she does.

My favorite is when my DW tries to tell me something without telling me. Like rattling the dishes really hard if she had to do the dishes I was supposed to do.
I usually say something like, "Well, obviously you're mad about something, why didn't you tell me you wanted me to do the dishes instead of doing them and using that as an excuse to get mad at me?"
Then again, if she did that, she'd skirt all responsibility besides DS all together.
I work full time, do 100% of the cooking, dishes, and laundry and had to be a single dad for a month and a half while she had 3 brain surgeries....nice try though

I feel bad for your wife if she had to have 3 brain surgeries and you're seriously complaining about things like this...
So you are complaining that your wife who had three brain surgeries doesn't do enough around the house. You sound like a fantastic husband. The point is you came to a board full of mothers and spoke badly of your wife, how well did you think it was going to go over. You and the other guy are probably the same person.
It's commendable that you are so helpful around the house, but dude? Your wife had 3 brain surgeries and you are sitting here complaining? That must have been serious stuff, so you're not going to get anywhere here with your "woe is me, I was a single dad for ONE AND A HALF MONTHS?? (WTF?)" so I know what it's like!! Why don't you spend some time taking care of your wife instead of complaining on a message board that is primarily geared towards women.
And if you spent anytime on here you would know that most of the women on here talk/complain/vent about a lot more than our husbands. Good luck buddy...
her problem has been resolved...I'm not going to let her milk it any longer...that was 6 months ago!!!!
she's all better and has been sooooooooo milking it the last 3 months....everyone goes on about marriage being a partnership but she has been skating all summer long

My pet peeve is douchebag men/husbands/fathers who pretend like they have to be told what to do around the house/with the kids. Please...give me a fuckingbreak. I don't need anyone to tell me when to feed the kids, or do the laundry, or cook a meal. Why should a man need his wife to?
