history of IC and bi-weekly u/s?

If your dr suspects that you have/had IC in the past at what point did your dr stop bi-weekly ultrasounds? I have to get them done at the hospital and it is such a pain in the a$$. The people there are mean, they don't give me any cool pics like my dr office does and I have to leave work by 3 to get there in time.

My bi-weekly u/s were vaginal and they stopped at 32 weeks. I'm sorry you don't like the people there...I actually looked forward to the appointments because we loved our nurse and she gave us pics every time.

I LOVE the tech at my dr office, but due to insurance reasons I have to get them done at the hospital. It is so annoying. I would totally look forward to the appt if it was at my dr office.

Good to know that they stop them at 32 wks b/c that means I will only have a couple more after this one!

Hi -

I was put on bed rest because of IC. ?Very bad beaking and only 1cm of cervix left at 23 weeks. ?I began with once weekly NST, and once weekly abdominal and vaginal u/s. ?At 28 weeks, they increased NST to twice weekly, and continued with weekly abdominal and vaginal u/s. ?@ 33 weeks we're down to every two weeks of abdominal u/s, but still twice weekly NST. We dont get pics all the time, maybe once a month...but the 4D kind since our specialist has the machines to do it. ?It is a hassle to go so often, but it gives us a chance to see our baby develop and to make sure my IC is holding up. ?Good luck to you! ?

Before I reply which IC are you referring too? I have Interstitial Cystitis.
