Night CD Help (is it time for wool?)

I have been using Blueberry OS pockets with a BB combo MF/hemp insert for a while now with no issues. I'd say once a week or so lately DD has been waking up with one leg of her PJ's wet - like a leak. I'm not sure if the diaper's not fitting well and it's leaking out or the insert is full but I'm sure she could just pee more/less depending on what she did that day, etc. which could explain why it's not every night. Should I add another layer of insert or put her to sleep with a wool cover over to contain leaks, etc.? I'm nervous to try wool and I'm not sure if that's what it is meant for or not? TIA :)

    Wool does rock.  That being said, we sometimes still have leaks throught the wool, depending on how much she pees at night. 

    But I wouldn't put a wool cover over anything that already had PUL in it.

    Ditto.  The wool is only good at absorbing slowly.  So it won't keep a leak from happening if the diaper is already leaking.  It will keep a fitted (or PF) breathing at night and soak up any moisture that makes it to the outside of the diaper.

    I am amazed you made it this long with a pocket diaper!  I had to switch to fitteds at like 5 or 6 months!  I say try a fitted like a B4 or GM and a wool cover, you may never go back!

    We also had to forego pockets for fitteds around 5-6 months because of leaks.  There's a point to where you just can't stuff more in and it not cause gaping at the legs so another insert might not work although you could always give it a try.  What's the worst that could happen?  A leak, which you've already got. 

    We do a B4 with a wool cover at night and have not had a leak since making the switch.

    Ditto pp - we can still make it with an overstuffed BG, so you could always try adding (I'd try hemp) another insert to your BB.  That said, we have leaking issues with our two BB minkys - not sure why. 

    Also - I'm another B4 & wool (aristocrats) user for nighttime.  Never had a leak with this combo, and I do occasionally get leaks with the pocket.
