Question about birthing classes

When will you be taking your class and when did you register? I've heard some people in my area say that they registered in the 4th month and started in the 5th or 6th month, but that seems early to me. Maybe this pregnancy is just starting to feel real to me now and I'm realizing that there's so much to do! Thanks for reading!

    I am taking my classes in September they are every Monday for a month I am not due until November. Hope this helps.

    We just started ours last week (week 26).  We signed up about 2 weeks prior.  They are in cycles, so we just had to take the one that finished before our due date.  We'll finish in August, which seems early since I'm not due until October, but the next cycle wouldn't be done until after my due date.  
    ***************************** Our beautiful daughter was born in October 2009. Turns out she was quite the miracle. After two years of TTC, diagnosed with DOR. A couple of failed treatment cycles later, we decided to let go of our hope for more biological children and explore adoption.

    It depends on what class you want to take.  I'm taking a Bradley class and they are 12 weeks, so starting in the 5th or 6th month is necessary.  If you are just taking a one day or weekend class then you can wait until you are much further into 3rd trimester.  But you might still want to explore your options now and call and find out how quickly classes fill up so you don't miss the opportunity to register for the class you want.

    I had an appointment last tuesday and my doctor told me that I should sign up for the classes this month. So I'm going to register for them in a week and I won't start until the middle of August.

    The hospital where I will be going when LO arrives holds birthing classes.  I called the hospital to ask about the classes and they recommended that I take their December class since I am due Jan. 7th.  She registered me for the class when I called.

    I just registered for classes that start at the end of August. DH and I are doing Bradley method birthing classes and our instructor advised to start classes between 4.5 and 6 months. I'll be a little over 5 months when the classes begin.

    I would start looking at classes soon as some fill up quickly. Our class is limited to 6 couples and when I called (last week) we were couple 5.

    I just finished my prenatal classes today (at 24 weeks) but all of  the couples except us are due in Aug/Sept. 

    I only took mine this early because it was the only weekend that worked with DH & my work schedules.

    Ours start in late August.  We registered a while ago, the hospital assigned the class groups, and the actual dates.

    I'm registering this week (26) for my two showers at weeks 33 and 34.  My child birth class is week 33-36.  My BF class is week 37.
