question for those who use the clearblue fertility monitor

This is my first cycle using the cbfm. I'm currently on cycle day 13 and still getting a low peak reading. In the past i've normally ovulated on cd 13,14 or 15. Is it true that when u first use the monitor it does not give you a high or peak reading the first 2 cycles you use it because it has to get to know your cycles?

    I'm pretty sure that I got a peak reading the first time I used the CBFM, but it's been awhile.  I do remember that it was a totally different time that I thought that I ovulated.  Is the monitor new?  Does it have new batteries in it?  Then, you should be fine.  Also, remember that there will be some cycles that you don't ovulate.  This could be one of them.  Also, you may be peeing on the stick too much or not enough.  I generally found that the 3 second rule worked.

    I'm pretty sure I got high and peak readings my first time.  I'll add to that though that I don't get that high reading every month.  There have been months that I just jump from low to peak.  I'll add to what DMD said...I actually pee in a cup and dip it instead.  That way I know that I got enough on it!  Good luck!

    I have definitely gotten highs and peaks the first two months I've used it.

    I too got peaks the first month I used it.  Perhaps tomorrow?

    It does take a cycle or two to get to know your cycles. I did get highs and peaks my first cycle.

    Maybe see what happens tomorrow.

    I got highs and peaks on the first time using, but then I was also surprised when I O because it was earlier than when I thought I normally O.  It could be you O later than  you think--do you temp also.  Also, like pp I use the PIAC method because I can then know the stick is getting the right amount of saturation.
