I have read that they should be getting a minimum of 24 oz. She is only taking 4 bottles and barely over 5 oz. Sometimes 4 full bottles is a struggle. The only bottle she eats more than 5 1/2 is her morning bottle.
Should I skip some solids and do 5 bottles?
She eats 2-3 solid meals a day, but sometimes the second is just 1/2 of what she didn't eat with the first....
Re: 8 month old how many oz? I don't think she is getting enough
C is eating about 34 oz of formula a day. ?He takes about 3 oz of solids on a good day.
Babies should be getting most of their nutrients from BM / formula at this age. ?Did you discuss with your pedi? ?Is your pedi concerned about her intake??
DS gets 32oz of formula a day and has 3 solid meals everyday. He's a big eater.
He gets an 8 oz bottle at 5:30a, 10ish, 2p, and 6:30p.
His meals are at 8a, 12p, and 5p.
I do mix BM in with most of her solids. So she is getting some more there. It is a fight to get 4 bottles in her. She STTN and is down from 7-8ish-6ish.
