16 and Pregnant...chose adoption

I don't watch 16 and Pregnant and was actually watching The Fashion Show and was flipping through channels during a commercial. 16 & P was about the parents realizing that they could not provide as good as a life as they wanted for their soon-to-be-daughter and decided to go through adoption. The couple they choose had IF and had not been able to have children. I am watching it on rerun (they played both shows in rerun immediately following).

    I can't imagine how hard that situation would be, but at least they were able to make a decision based on what they thought would be best for their kid.

    yeah i actually did want to see that one.  i have seen a few episodes and for some reason i do like to watch it.

    I was flipping through channels and caught this episode tonight ... it was absolutely heartwrenching to see from both sides.

    I couldn't stop crying through that entire episode!  Those kids were so unselfish and responsible doing what they did.  I couldn't believe how their parents were.

    I watched it last night. I bawled my eyes out the entire time. I think it was great that they went that route. I can't imagine doing that at their age and I think they were smart for doing it. I feel bad that their families aren't behind them.

    Ditto!  I was bawling the whole time!  My niece and nephew are adopted, and I only could think of what their birth parents went through.

    These kids' parents... I wanted to reach through the tv and strangle them!  How selfish!!!!  I just couldn't believe it!!!!!!!

    this episode made me cry too. i applaud the teens.. it takes courage and heart to make a tough decision like that... i like the way.. they both agree to give her a better life... i agree the teens parents attitude was unbeliveable.. where is the support for their children..
