My baby has arrived - 32 weeks 3 days

I wanted tell everyone that our little baby boy arrived at 10:08am on July 14, 2009 he weighed 4 lbs 13 oz (very good for his gestational age), 19.5" long. He is a little trooper, breathing room air on his own since he was born and overall doing very good. He will be in the NICU for 3 - 4 weeks and then we can bring him home!!!

Oh, he does sound like such a trooper and has such great stats for his Gestational age!! Congrats to you and here is to hoping the next 3-4 weeks fly by!!!!!!!!!!!

congrats! DS was born at 32w6d and was 4lb, 14oz! good luck with the NICU and hopefully it'll be a short stay! Smile

Congratulations on your son! He sounds like he is doing great! I work in a NICU as a respiratory therapist (well I did before bedrest)..if you have any NICU questions feel free to ask. I know it's scary but he's a great gestational age and size. Hoping he's home even sooner than the timeline they gave you and the next few weeks fly by!
