So my husband is turning 30 and the entire family is flying in to see us. We want to have the baby shower that weekend too since this will be the only time everyone will be together. Is this too early to throw a shower???
I don't think it's too early, especially if it will be the most convenient time for the whole family to be there. Better to have it @ 23 weeks and have everyone there than to wait and have no one be able to come. I say go for it!
Not under the circumstances! My shower is at 25 weeks for a similar reason--my whole family will be in town for a wedding, including my oldest brother and his family who I only get to see about once a year. Plus I have to travel a ridiculous distance for it, and I only want to have to do that once.
Not at all! I had one at 20 wks bc that is when I was back home to visit my mom wanted to throw me one with everyone out there. No one will judge you of course they will want to celebrate with you I'm sure!

Enjoy your shower with your whole family!
it is early but not for your situation. At least you past the half mark.
No. I will be 24 weeks at my shower.
I didn't get to pick my date because I'm not hosting it, and the hostess has lots of reasons for wanting to do it early.
