When I clicked this topic I was thinking "Oh no please let this not be a girl name post" and it wasn't. Clark is my maiden name and I would love to use it if I ever have a boy, Addison is a BOYS name to me no matter how many people give it to their daughter. Thumbs up from me.

I agree. Though it's nms, Addison definitely sounds too masculine for a girl's name so I never like it at all for girls. It sounds so cute with Clark!
I went to school w/ a guy named Addison. This was a family name and he was born in the 70's (yes, I just dated myself) way before Addison became popular for little girls.

Addison should be used as a boy's name, in my oppinion. I like the family connection too.

I am a Cubs fan (see my screen name!) and honestly all I can think of is: his parents are psycho Cubs fans. If your son will ever be in the midwest, thats all people will think of.

Re: Clark Addison
I love it!!
i think it's fine, given the fact that it's a family name.
i don't really like the name for a boy or a girl.

I LOVE, love, love his name =]
Addison is supposed to be a boy name anyway, until someone just had to turn around and use it for a girl..just like 'ashley' and 'avery'
