What crib, carseat, stroller have you chosen?

Fun poll...

What crib have you chosen?

What car seat have you chosen?

What stroller have you chosen?

I'm not 100% on anything, but for the crib I'm leaning towards the Sorelle Sierra.  https://www.csnbaby.com/asp/show_detail.asp?sku=UO1335&refid=FR51-UO1335   For the car seat I'll probably get the Chicco KeyFit 30 -- the price is good, it's lightweight, and it's supposed to be easiest to install correctly.  I'm having a hard time on the stroller -- I want one that will be good for city streets as I live in a somewhat urban area where space is sparse.  I've heard the snap n' goes are not that great for uneven terrain, but I want something compact.  I also don't want to spend a ton.

  • My husband and I had a really difficult time picking those things out because this is our first and we don't know anything about baby products, so we finally broke down and ordered consumer reports.   We just ordered the DaVinci Emily crib because it was rated highly by consumer reports and we also got the Graco Quattro Tour Sport Travel System because it was also rated highly by consumer reports.  We are also planning on getting the Uppababy stroller as a more light weight alternative.
  • Crib: Haven't gotten there yet

Carseat: still doing research but probably the Graco snugride or snugride 32

Stroller: Baby Jogger City Mini with the car seat adapter bar

  • What crib have you chosen? we got the Bassett Baby Cape Cod crib in white

What car seat have you chosen?   We have the Graco snugride travel system given to us by a coworker, and we chose the Britax Roundabout for convertible

What stroller have you chosen? Graco Quattro - given to us. But it's what I would have chosen based on Baby Bargains reviews.

  • I like the crib! However, I've seen such cute ones on Walmart.com and they are $150-300.00 for the same/similar thing you're looking at. They also have name brand crib mattresses for much less. My sister did the "site to store" and the shipping was free, you just have to go pick it up from the store. Just a suggestion if you want a good deal.

  • Crib: We're still deciding. It'll either be the Babi Italia Pinehurst in Espresso or the Tori by Savanna (@ JCP) in Espresso. Both are convertible cribs.

Stroller: Baby Jogger City Mini in Orange (with the carseat adaptor). *So* much better than a travel system.

Are you looking at the lifetime crib in this version or the cheaper convertible one? Dh and I were going to get the cheaper version ($300 something compared to $400 something for the other version.) BRU wouldn't sell it to us, saying they had a "stop-sale" listed on it meaning that it is being investigated/recalled.

  • Crib - Ikea Gulliver, I think

Carseat - Graco Snugride (using my neices', as she will have outgrown it), then Britax Boulevard CS, I think

    Stroller - Bugaboo Bee

  • I bought a Graco Lauren crib (in Espresso) - Baby Bargains highly recommended it, it's pretty cheap, and they actually had it in stock and Target so DH and I were able to take it home immediately and set it up. It's great looking!

I have a Graco Snugride 32 (in "lemongrass", black and pale green) - I got this because it fits on the stroller we have, is not too expensive, and is highly rated. MIL and FIL bought this for us; so nice!

I have a BOB Revolution stroller (in Orange) - My parents wanted to buy us our stroller because they wanted us to have a BOB so they could take the baby on hikes. DH jogs and we both love hiking, so we're really happy with its off-road capabilities. It's kind of huge and bulky, but we're not complaining - it was free! They also bought us the carseat adaptor bar for the BOB so that we can put our Snugride on it when baby is small, and then attach a snack tray when baby is older.

  • Crib: Garage sale bargain at posh neighborhood garage sale. Thus, I don't know the brand offhand, but I think it would retail for somewhere between $400-$500.00.

Car seat and stroller: Graco Quattro Travel Tour 32-pound system in Diaz. It's a very reasonable price for what you get.

  • Crib is a hand-me-down from a neighbor; both of her kids ended up sleeping in her bed, so it's brand new.

Carseat and Stroller are both Britax Chaperone in Cow-moo-flage.

I think it was the drop-side version of the Pinehurst that was recalled (someone posted on the Nursery Decor board about it a few weeks ago). We're looking at the lifetime convertible:
