Jumperoo or Exersaucer

I am new to the board and wanted to introduce myself and also had a question.  My DS is 2 1/2 months old and we are looking to buy some sort of entertainer for him.  If you could only choose one, would you buy a jumperoo or an exersaucer?  Also, what age did your LO start using these? Thanks!!

    DD loves her jumperoo. She started using it right before she turned 3 months.

    We have both--the exersaucer was a hand-me-down and we bought the jumperoo on craigslist. You certainly don't need both but it's really nice to have them in different areas of the house...plus ds likes the variety. He's 4 mo now and we started using both at about 3.5 months. He seems to like the exersaucer a little more. Definitely check craigslist for a used one of whichever you decide. They're so expensive and you can find them for next to nothing on there.

    We actually bought a doorway jumper that DS loves!  We sit in the room with him to make sure he doesn't get too carried away.  We bought it on craigslist and it is the best $10 we've spent so far.  He also has an exersaucer that we also bought on craigslist.  He likes it for about 10-15 minutes then gets fussy.  Each child is different though!
