Like/Dislike? I just came across it today, doesn't seem to be very popular. Is there a different way to spell it? We're pretty settled on a different name, but figured it doesn't hurt to look. Boy names are HARD!
Using last names for first or middle names seems almost like it might be coming back in style again.
We've thought about using my maiden name for a middle name for our LO. It bugged me growing up but now I like it and miss it and it would be nice to honor my family that way.
I agree that is kind of sounds like "person". Also have a bad connatation with the name Pearce, so its really nms. I do love "son" ending names. DS is Jamison and I love most other "son" ending names.
We're naming our son Pierson Carter. My husband picked it out. He originally wanted to name him Piers, but I thought Pierson was a better first name and he can call him Piers for short. We're 35 weeks. Can't wait to meet him
Our 18 month old grandson's name is Pierson! It goes nicely with his older brother's name Jaxon. But sometimes we just call him Piers and his brother Jax.
I love it! My two year old grandson's name is Pierson. His 4 year old brother is Jaxon. We call them Piers and Jax for short. Two adorable little boys.

Holy shit
Both of those names make me cringe. Especially Jaxon! BLECH!!!!
And why dig up a thread from six years ago just to make that comment? LAME.

Wow, I just happened to google my grandson's name and found it on this website. I never realized how mean people could be on here. Kinda sad! Hope your day gets better.
Love it, but I am kinda partial to the name my 3 year old son is named Pierson John. He was named after his great-grandfather; his middle name was Pierson, too.
Re: Boy Name: Pierson?
I've only ever heard of it as a last name.
