Ha! I'm sure it could be considered a milestone! I *thankfully* haven't had to use it for DS yet, but have used it for our dog twice...they are really very helpful!
I have had poison control programmed in my phone ever since DS was 3 months old. My dad used one of the empty water jugs we had for water for Gabe's bottles, made an Oxy Clean mix, left in on our counter where we keep his current jug and didn't tell us. 3 a.m. rolls around and DH makes DS's bottle. DS starts throwing up and screaming. I flipped out and started looking for my phone to call the pedi. This was during Gustav in BR, so an ambulance could not have gotten to us, and we couldn't get out. I'm freaking out b/c DS just got out of the hospital for a stomach virus. My dad was staying with us for the hurricane b/c his place was in a bad flood zone. He heard the commotion and came to see. I told him what happened, and he let's me know it was an Oxy Clean mix. I find the # to PC and call. Turns out Oxy Clean is a powedered hydrogen peroxide. They said as long as he was throwing it back up and the vomiting didn't go on for to long, he was fine. And no, the jug was not labeled.

Nancy Louise....I would have had a come-apart. I'm glad your ds was ok.
I print a chart for the nanny each week and put it on the fridge and she records all his feedings. I've been printing the poison control number (along with pedi, 911, our emergency numbers, etc) at the bottom just in case of emergency. It was nice to have it handy when I needed it. I should probably program into my cell phone too because who knows when he might decide to eat/drink something random.
