okay... we had our niece's party this weekend, which some of you may know I was dreading because my moocher of a BIL decided to make it this huge event, w/ tons of kids while MIL footed the bill. Did I mention he is 41 and still lives at home with barely any job and no intention of leaving?

Just wanted to clear that up.

Anyhoo....

So, I am sitting by the pool, drinking a beer and just trying to relax...

The, a girl walks in that looks familiar for some reason. I am searching and searching my brain to figure out who this is.

And then it hits me... is is one of MH's ex- girlfriends!

WTF?

And... apparently BIL and she are seeing each other.

again.. WTF?

So... not only was I trapped at a freaking kid party... I had to spend the day with an ex of my husbands!

Now... was I jealous.. no. But.... wtf kind of luck do I have? I mean, seriously? I swear... I really pissed someone off in another life!

Of course... loser BIL give no warning of this... like everything else, he is too selfish to think of anyone other than himself.

So... that was my day yesterday.

What killed me was the ex- GF has a 5 year old daughter. I kept thinking that if DH had just wound up with her... he would have a child.

There were not enough Blue Moons in the place to make all of this okay!

If it makes you feel any better my BIL is a total ass and sometimes i wish he had my H's MFI. He has one child and doesnt even deserve kids...

i'm so sorry about the party. how tacky that dh's ex was there. i'm also sorry that the blue moons weren't able to make the party bearable. as for thinking that if dh wound up with ex, he would have a kid....he'd be miserable, because he wouldn't be with you. remember that : - )

And just get that image of DH having a kid with ex-GF out of your head right now missy. We can't let thoughts like that linger. Too damaging. He belongs with you and only you. And I'm sure he is happier with you right now IF and all than he would be if he were with her and with a kid.

I love family (in-law) functions. Sorry yours sucked this weekend, too.

This weekend I had to hang out with my DH's cousin who has tried to kill his own mother on several occasions, but she drops the charges and continually forgives him. Fun times.

My BIL has a new "serious girlfriend" every time we go over there. I don't even try to learn their names anymore.

Fun times.

Err that sucks.

Going to wedding for girls that my DH used to like or have feeling for before he met me, and other girls who had feelings for him,,, is just as sucky.

Also, recently I couldn't figure out who my friends BIL was dating, I knew I seen her before, and she talked to me like she knew me. I figured it out later, I used to go to a bible study at her house, and recall her saying that her realation ship with her BF was hard because he was a real esate agent, and she was the one with the money... So I am confused as to whyh she (24 years) is dating a 20 year baristo who lives with his mommy?
