DH and I went to a local baby store today to look at baby furniture. I have heard so many people say it takes 12-18 weeks for funiture to come in, so I figured we should start early. Well we found a set we like and they have it in stock. Is it crazy to buy it now? DH feels like we should wait...I kinda dont see the point in waiting.
What do you ladies think-- is 16 weeks too early?
Re: xp: Baby Furniture: How early is too early?
Absolutely not! Why wait 'till the last couple months to buy and do everything? We plan on getting our nursery started in a few weeks. (new flooring, windows, crown molding) and we'll wait for the furniture, paint, decor when we find out the sex.
Just bought our bassinet today. And saw this great wood high chair for 10 bucks at a yard sale..Couldn't pass it up. But we are 22 wks and that is all the furniture we have so far. Not rushing to much because of the space and we will be moving into a bigger house within the next 6 months.
