This is probably a dumb question, but is it bad if I lay on my stomach for awhile at this point in the pregnancy? It doesn't feel uncomfortable at all, but it makes me paranoid. WDYT?
I am a stomach sleeper, and when PG my Doctor told me to go ahead and sleep on my stomach as long as I physically could. He said there was no harm in it.
As long as it's still comfortable for you, there's no problem. I'm a hard-core tummy sleeper but it was SO uncomfortable for me by even 12 weeks, there was not a chance I could do it at 20. I *literally* cried about it during my first pregnancy. I even tried to rig up my snoogle pillow so that it looked like a doughnut where my belly could fit in the middle. That only kinda-sorta worked for about 10 minutes. Boo.
I can only sleep on my stomach and have done it the entire time with each kid. It hurts to lay on my back and side sleeping is uncomfortable. I rig pillows and put one leg up so that I can sleep on my stomach lol.
I am still sleeping on my stomach at almost 35 weeks. I did it my whole pregnany with my other two. I need to raise up one leg a bit and use a pillow under my chest for a little bit of extra support this time but it is the only way I can sleep. I hate side sleeping, my hips are so sore when I sleep that way for more than a hour.
