Rocking Chair Cover Rave!

I was given a 40 year old rocking chair from my aunt who recently passed away.  Originally I was going to get a nice glider but wanted to use this chair since passed down from a family member.

I wanted to make it more comfy and liven it up a bit so searched for a nice chair cover. I ended up ordering one from www.babybedding.com, under room decor they have a rocking chair pad section.

UPS delivered it yesterday.  It fits great and looks great.  It coordinates great in the babies room and transforms this 40 year old wooden rocking chair.  Plus good quality, very thick and comfy.  SO if anyone has an old rocking chair, check out the covers.  I am a big fan!

Re: Rocking Chair Cover Rave!

  • Those look so much better than the one's DH and I had found. We also inherited the family rocking chair and were trying to figure out a way to make it match the room.

***Off to go find the credit card before DH realizes its missing Big Smile

  • Thanks for sharing.. we were also given a very nice rocking chair, I dont like gliders, but was having a hard time finding a cover thing... Thanks so much
  • Thank you so much for posting this!!  They have a cover that will match the pattern perfect!!
  • I got my cover 5 days later after ordering online via UPS.  Got an email with UPS tracking number, so yesterday while at work I saw they delivered to my house at 12:50 was excited to get home and see it.  So service good and quality was good too.  Big fan.

  • Thanks!! DH really wants an antique rocking chair, not a glider. He thinks gliders look tacky (I thought all men secretly wanted a lazy boy?!) plus we don't have a ton of room. These may have convinced me to go with the rocking chair after all...
