tips for travling with LO?

so i posted a couple days ago that we're driving to Atlanta to see DH's brother and his wife.  it's about 9 hours from where we are (longer with LO though).

anyone got tips for travling on long car rides with LO?  we're planning on leaving later at night, so hopefully she'll already be ready to sleep.

    When I take DD to MI to visit family I make sure to have her bottles filled with water and her formula in a munchkin container so that I can just dump and shake. This makes it easier should she want to eat and a place to stop is not close. I can't tell you how many times I had to reach around the seat and feed her until we found someplace. I would also recommend when you stop to use the bathroom and strech take LO out and let her stretch too if shes awake....9 hours or more in a carseat is probably not that comfy. GL!

    Ds gets bored if he's awake and fusses, but if dh sits back with him he's very happy!
