Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Okay, since we've all recently worn Maternity Clothes

Am I the only one who finds Motherhood Maternity's quality HORRIFIC?

(Don't even get me started on their return policy, customer service and all the ridiculous things they ask you to sign up for.)

I recently vowed that should I get PG again, I will not waste money on their clothes. I'm wearing a nursing tank right now that is held together by safety pins and one of the straps is shredded.

I've had it for less than 2 months.

Problem is, there doesn't seem to be a lot of competiion for them in that price range. I know there is Old Navy and Target but the selection is often very limited or online only (I have to try stuff on first.)

I'm certain this is the only reason they're still in business.

Okay, vent over ;-)

  • I hated their clothes too because of the quality and they never fit right.

I got a lot of my maternity clothes from JCPenney, Gap, and Old Navy.

  • I did not buy one thing from them this time around.  I much preferred Target foir my everyday wear.

I completely agree and I don't even care for 95% of the stuff in that store.  Can't tell you how many times I cried in their dressing rooms.

I paged you yesterday.  Does your siggy mean you are from San Diego?

  • I had some items that held up well and others that fell apart in the wash or shrunk. Overall the quality is poor.
  • I bought a lot of stuff on sale at Gap and then just bought larges in shirts elsewhere. I didn't mind Motherhoods Jeans though.
  • I only bought 3 things and the rest was from JCP and Target.  All my clothes are still good.  If there is a second my maternity wardrobe is ready!
  • I loved all the pants i got at mm, but no so much the tops.
  • i didn't buy too many maternity clothes.  one really good pair of citizen's jeans was the only thing i spent a good amount of money on.  i was really big during the winter, so i just wore lots of tights and boots.  target was my friend best friend:)

I was really disappointed in the quality of Old Navy.  I didn't have any problems with my Motherhood clothes.
  • I hated how bad the sizing was. At the end I couldn't even wear their size L and I wore a S pre preg. It didn't help that everything shrunk.

  • i agree it is not good quality.  i found more at good prices at a jcp outlet store and on clearance at jcpenney and onavy.
  • EH, I have a few pieces from Motherhood. Not the greatest quality but they were cute and did the job.

  • I hate how I tried to use my gift certificates on nursing sleepwear, but it's all so low cut I can't leave the bedroom with it on!
  • I didn't really buy many maternity clothes, but what I did buy was from Gap (I scoured the sale racks because I'm cheap). I did find two cute pairs of jeans at Ross, and I loved them! I never could find anything at Motherhood that I liked and that fit!
